After months of speculation and rumors, The Rolling Stones have officially announced four 50th anniversary concerts. The band will play at London's O2 Arena on November 25th and 29th and in New Jersey's Prudential Center on December 13th and 15th.
Ticket information for the shows are available on the Stones' website. There will be an all new custom set design featuring the band's tongue and lips logo. On the shows guitarist Keith Richards says:
“Sorry to keep you all hanging around but the waiting is over. I’ve always said the best place for rock and roll is on the stage and the same is true for the Stones. I’m here with Mick, Charlie and Ronnie and everything is rocking. See you very soon!”
The shows will mark the first time the band has performed together since 2007. For fans unable to witness the concerts in person, the December 15th show will be broadcast via pay-per-view. That will be distributed by the WWE (yes, the wrestling WWE).
